In the premier division, Godalming A powered to yet another 10-0 win, this time against Merrow B, taking them 20 points clear of their nearest rivals. Merrow A moved up to equal second place along with Burymead A, by beating relegation contenders Cody A 8-2, whilst Burymead A drew 5-5 against their C team. Jason Tendler took a maximum for Merrow A and Phil Snelson took a maximum for Burymead A.
In the first division, Aftermath B moved up to second place with a 9-1 win over their A team with Trevor Sanders and Steve Cheek winning all three. At the bottom of the division, Abinger A got a valuable 8-2 win over bottom placed College Hill C, with a maximum from Mike Hughes.
The second division saw a “top vs bottom” clash with unbeaten Godalming E overwhelming Bramley C by 10-0 with wins from Jason Minoo, Carsten Horne and Adrian Cretu. Woking A, now up at 5th place drew against second placed Cranleigh with Mike Glen and Richard Hitchcox getting 2 wins each whilst Brian Amos scored a maximum for Cranleigh.
In division 3, Merrow H’s team of league debutants lost 3-7 to Godalming H with Ansh. Richharia getting all of Merrow’s points whilst Rich Naylor, Muhammad Tahla and Kristian Mikolajceylz all won 2. Godalming H is 7 places higher than Merrow but have only 6 more points. Burymead D won 7-3 against College Hill D with the evergreen Gordon Aplin taking a maximum, putting the teams onto equal points.
Cody B are looking favourites to win the fourth division but the battle for the other promotion slot is tight with the two teams who are second equal, Bramley E and College Hill F, drawing 5-5. David Barraclough kept his 100% record for Bramley whilst Rick Clement and Sue Bowman each won two for College Hill.
