The top two in the Premier Division, Burymead B and Godalming A, produced an excellent match and, ultimately, the points were shared. Godalming’s Adam Laws was the star performer of the evening with a maximum and team-mate Frederico Vitterbo bagged a brace as did Burymead’s Chris Bush. Merrow C eased past Godalming B 6-4 with Merrow’s Andy Mudie unbeaten. Micky Lang supported with a duo with Godalming’s Robin Honey also winning twice. College Hill A and Challoner A split the points with College Hill’s Rory Scott winning all three. Team mate Phil farrison won twice as did Challoner’s Anthony Johnson.
Woking LTC A in the Second Division chalked up their first win of the season against Godalming G. Daniel Koenigsberger won all three for Woking with the Godalming pair of Adit Gandhi and Chris Gottlieb each winning twice. Bramley B inflicted the first defeat of the season on Cranleigh easing past them 6-4. Steve Cheeseman recorded a maximum for Bramley whilst both Brian Amos and Angela Coventry each won a couple for Cranleigh.
Aftermath A & B met in the First Division when the B team tasted success for the first time this season. Trevor Sanders picked up a full house for the B team whilst Albert Cheung won a duo for the A squad. Cody A inflicted the first defeat on Bramley A winning 7-3. Kin Chan was undefeated for Cody with Paul Shakespeare supporting with a pair.
The Fourth Division promotion race appears to involve three teams. Challoner C lead the way with a 9-1 success over Godalming M. Ken Lemon and Chris Ray were both unbeaten with colleague Alan Cumper won twice. Emmanuel TTC beat Abinger B 7-3. Stephen Schofield picked up a full house with Keith Brown bagging a brace as did Abinger’s Jim Faulkner. Woking LTC C overcame Godalming P 7-3 with Andrew Bramwell winning three and team-mates Simon Reed and Derek Adams each successful twice. Rob Chatwin won twice for Godalming.
