Bramley A, in the First Division, have started very well with two straight victories the latest being a resounding 8-2 win over Aftermath B. Peter Palmer and Nick Gould did the damage with maximums. Aftermath A look as if they will be a force in a division that looks very open. They recorded a 7-3 win over Merrow E to also maintain their 100% record. Albert Cheung was unbeaten for Aftermath with Simon Turner chipping in with a pair. Paul Farrant picked up a couple for the losers. Cody A will be very pleased with their 7-3 win over Woking LTC A with John Harvey winning three and Peter Anthony two. Draws look as if they will be common in this division with Challoner C sharing the spoils with College Hill A and Burymead C also splitting the points, with College Hill B. In the Challoner match Andy Clegg was unbeaten for College Hill with Paul Creamer victorious twice, newcomer Sally Cimiotti was twice for Challoner. In the Burymead match every player won and lost during the evening. Matt Batt-Rawden and Joel Clancy for Burymead and Phil Harrison for College Hill B each won twice.
In the Second Division Woking LTC B still boast a 100% record. A 7-3 win over Allianz owed much to a Richard Carpenter full house with Ollie Carpenter and Owen Poelijoe supporting with pairs, each losing out to Clayton Green. Godalming D lost their 100% record by only drawing against Ash B. Karim Lawji, for Ash, was the star of the evening with a full house whilst Fei Fei Pei and Tony Harrild each won twice for Godalming.
In the Third Division Merrow J maintained their good start with an 8-2 success over Aftermath E. Scott Gotham was unbeaten for Merrow with Steve Gotham and James Richardson winning twice apiece, each losing to Peter Millie.Aftermath D are starting to flex their muscles with a whitewash of Cody B. John Setterfield, Alan Sherwin and Jim Roberts being the victorious team. Godalming F notched their first win with a 7-3 win over College Hill C. Michael Kwan and Alan Lewell won all the points for Godalming.
In the Fourth Division Bramley E continued their unbeaten start with a 7-3 win over Burymead E. Bob Holmden and Mike Smith each picked up trios for Bramley. Godalming H laid down their marker with an 8-2 hammering of previously unbeaten Woking LTC D. Dom Carpenter and Paul Herbert won all their matches for Godalming.
Cranleigh C won the battle over their B team, 8-2, with Chris Ray unbeaten for the C team. Another new player, John Marrow, won twice as did Roger Williams for the C team. Blue Porter provided the two wins for the B team. Bramley F appear likely to be in the promotion shake-up. They managed an 8-2 win over two-man Merrow K. Mike Smith was unbeaten with Den Hall and Kim Taylor each losing to David Bryan who picked up the points for Merrow.
